My thesis is due in less than three weeks.
Ahhhhh.
In East Hampton, I’m a nudist and I eat meat,” Baldwin—a vegetarian—had said...
– Alec Baldwin, profiled by Ian Parker in the New Yorker. The piece is long - tops 8,000 words, which is 15 pages single spaced - but it’s worth it. I read it over the course of a few days, and I’m glad I made it to the end. It is an incredible picture of him - I love 30 Rock, and I love...

Soon they will try to enact people-laundry...
kambr:
I love warm laundry so much I am changing my major from Course 9 to Course Rolling Around In Warm Laundry All Day. Curriculum will involve putting off folding as long as possible, and scrounging around in the bottom of couches and backpacks for quarters every time the damn TechCash machine is broken. Mmmmmmm toasty sheets.
I love my sis.
And warm laundry. (roll roll roll)
And my family.

My God - this video was made with a still camera. The visuals are so fucking clear and the colors are absolutely stunning. I’d love to get my hands on this baby — the Canon 5D Mark II.
losing time
1. it is morning. a girl is in a rush. eats breakfast, one minute to catch the shuttle to class, food (waffle, quesedilla) on paper napkins. the shuttle pulls away, she runs for it. she boards and plops into a seat. she spills salsa on her shirt, the shirt of an outfit she carefully assembled. she was proud to look neat and put together, but now, she is not. you’re a mess, says the girl next...

I spend to much time on the computer at work

Today I was asked to make an illustration for the East Bay Express’ coloring contest. While drawing I accidentally erased a line I wasn’t supposed to erase and I made to motion for the keyboard shortcut for undo (Apple/Command +Z) on the paper and waited there for 5 seconds wondering why it wasn’t undoing itself before realizing that I was working on paper.
Ooh, the trials of a graphic...

I want you to tell me that you honestly can’t divert your eyes from those gyrating thighs of awesomeness.
Can’t. Daayuumm son.
It’s like the joke video for Unk’s “Walk It Out” (below) — but with more sexy near-vagina shots. I would say that this video is disgusting, but judging by the 10 people who reblogged this, it is actually really...
Review For My Dad On Yelp →

“he is very involved in a lot of geriatric medicine. very fluent in both english and korean (spanish and japanese too), probably one of the most smartest doctors i’ve been to. works very efficiently, one of those people that seem like they’re good at everything, trustworthy, knowledgeable, accessible and he’s pretty good looking for his age! (kinda like an older, korean version of...
If you don’t eat… you’ll DIE!

MIT celebrates all things 'Smoot' - CNN.com →
(via ceandersen)
When my dad showed me the Smoots on Harvard Bridge, which connects MIT to Boston (“MIT has a Harvard bridge. Harvard should have a MIT bridge! Yak yak.” - Dad), he told me that the frat brothers carried Smoot when he was especially toasted, not that Smoot got up and laid down all the time. This makes Smoot and his brothers sound much more tame. Not to mention that the...
Somebody hurt my feelings, so I will punish the country!
– Barney Frank, Congressman (D-MA), mocking the Republicans who didn’t vote for the bailout
(From “Pitbull Palin Mauls McCain,” an op-ed in the NYTimes by Frank Rich.)
(this is not to say I agreed with the terms of the bailout…)
My Joan of Arcadia moment
I just had a bizarre experience.
I walked late into my Molecules of Life class today, as usual, and took a place in the third row because I forgot to wear my glasses to class. I really enjoy the class - the lectures are always interesting and clear - but I usually check my iPhone and type some short emails, especially to prepare for the (dis)advantages of an elite education event today, which...
