thedailywhat: Cold Cut Rug of the Day: Mortadella Carpet from Das Büro für Gestaltung Flachbild. Part of a larger series of Wurstteppich (sausage carpets) designed for Passagen 2005. Motto: “Sausage is too beautiful to only be eaten.” [via.] Ahhh, stimmt so!  One night when I was living in Berlin, I befriended a guy over some tasty sausage. I remember him quite fondly. His name was Seb, and upon meeting me and realizing I had a similar blind devotion to food, he declared, “Ah! My würst friend!” His würst friend indeed - all the bratwürst he bought us? Right in my belly. To simmer happily with all the Haribo and Ritter Sport that would join it later that nacht.
