Just discovered this Youtube popular singer-songwriter online, David Choi. If anyone can tell me why he is such a big deal, I would be interested to know. Is it because he’s hooked into the Korean community, some secretive and artsy bibimbap mafia that operates out of K-town? Is there an acoustic music community seated around the LA area just dying to get behind the next big thing to hit the soft rock world? Are Korean men are becoming more and more attractive every day? He’s cute, but not very funny - he’s know JawKnee. And yet, he has 125,534 subscribers - almost twice the number of JK (who has 68,313).
What’s the appeal? Are these real fans - and why does he have so many of them?
