It jives with the spirit of my latest literary purchase: The Rodale Herb Book: How to Use, Grow, and Buy Nature’s Miracle Plants. Only a book published in 1975 could tell me, in all seriousness, that “The Rodale Herb Book is … an enchanting guide to the herbal vista for the reader new to herbs. But it also provides a new outlook for those already familiar with the herbal panorama.”
