I wish I could go see Deer Tick and Ferraby Lionheart tonight (that is his REAL name!). His newest songs are all inspired by a box of letters written from a soldier to his sweetheart in the ’40s. As Stereogum put it, that’s why it’s all “rimclicks and Wurly and old-timey lover’s allusions.”
