When a working friend and I go to lunch, I almost always ask if I can see where they work. There’s so much to be learnt about the world from the environments that people spend their days in — and I take great satisfaction from being a visitor in these spaces, spending a brief time enjoying the view of Chelsea Harbor or free espresso bar or inter-building lazer (!!) at whatever office I get to explore.
